Disc Golf Course

The Staunton Kiwanis Disc Golf Course is ranked one of the five best courses in the state of Virginia. The Kiwanis Disc Golf Course opened in Montgomery Hall Park in Staunton, Virginia, in June of 2005. Originally designed by Will Grant and Dr. David Vance, the course was redesigned in 2007 by Rene Devito. The course has three sets of tee boxes. Nine of the holes have alternate orange baskets and several holes have alternate basket placements for the main baskets, which provide the course with a wide variety of tee and basket placements. The various configurations play from around 4,500 feet to almost 7,000 feet. The course features a variety of elevation changes and fairways. There are seven wooded holes and a number of open holes with tight fairways. The various configurations make the course fun for beginners and challenging for veterans. The course is located in a beautiful park with grills, picnic tables, picnic shelters, and softball and baseball fields. The course is open year round free of charge.
